Do you ever think about your life and what you wish it would or should become? For example, do you wish to do more in your career, but feel blocked, stalled, and unable to progress? Or do you have wishes, desires, hopes, and dreams which never seem to come true?
Whenever you find yourself with questions like these, and you feel as if your life or your career is stuck, it can begin to feel overwhelming – especially when there seems to be no clear method for finding answers or changing any aspect of your life.
In this new post Bruce J. shares wisdom gained about balancing energy and finding relief from being overwhelmed.
Bruce J’s Perspective
Connecting to a Higher Power: As I have been connecting and listening to my higher power, I can feel the vast amount of wisdom which is available for every man, woman, and child to access at any given time. It awakens within me the dreams I hold, which I know now are visual reminders of a plan I already created for my life. For example, I see with precise details a beautiful home in the mountains, including the layout, floorplan, interior, and exterior, which I now draw from memory.
Reality is So Real: Yet as I visualize those images, and I experience the vast expanse of the universe, while I am in a state of focused thinking, I also feel the weight and pull of the current reality of my life. For example, I am reminded of the financial debt I acquired which prevents me from simply spending all of my time attuned to a higher power. This financial debt feels like a heavy chain pulling me away from the peaceful direction I want to follow now. It affects not only me, but also my spouse, as my spouse has agreed to share this journey in life with me.
Seeing Others with Challenges: This isn’t the only aspect of my life which causes me to feel overwhelmed, as I have friends and colleagues who face similar challenges. They want more from their lives, they seek to be free of debt, find new jobs, become fulfilled in what they do in their career, or have a life in which they do something meaningful. I felt this way too and yet I am learning there is a purpose for the challenges I faced in my life.
Learning about the “Right Time”: These issues and challenges are related to the big questions I wrote about in prior posts. One lesson learned is to focus on the visual images of my dreams as a reminder there is a plan for my life, one I created, and everything is unfolding according to the right time. This means the right time occurs even if it isn’t happening when I would like changes to occur, which usually means now. I understand too the stronger these images become, the closer I am getting to the plan unfolding. I also learned the past, especially past negative memories, needs to be shed as it can cause me to lose focus of the visual images and this will slow down the movement towards the plan becoming realized.
Seeking Clarity and Understanding: What I wanted to explore now, as a point of understanding and gaining clarity while connected to my higher power, through focused thinking, is how to find relief when I am feeling overwhelmed. I am certain there must be wisdom I can gain about this topic, as I know I am not the first person who has felt like they were not sure how to make changes happen in their life whenever they needed those changes to occur. This is perhaps one of the reasons why life becomes so overwhelming, when time seems to pass by quickly and there is no control over the immediate situation or circumstances.
Now I will share with you what I learned from my higher power, about finding relief from the feeling of being overwhelmed.
My Quest for Knowledge: The following is what I learned while attuned to my higher power. I sit quietly, focus my thoughts on a beginning question, and allow thoughts to flow through my mind.
A universal truth is this: Every man, woman, and child have a mind which is actively transmitting and receiving signals and impulses, no matter what condition the human physical form may be in. The mind transmits and receives multiple signals at any given time, with this energy flowing to and from the source of life, the energy that sustains mankind and the universe, and is nurtured in turn by mankind’s mind and energy.
Mankind described the mind in many negative ways; a scattered mind, a monkey mind, an unfocused mind, and a forgetful mind. In truth the mind is receiving and sending many signals concurrently. The signals are an energy and through these signals, knowledge, wisdom, and memories are transmitted through vibrations to a higher power. The wisdom gained by mankind is stored in this higher power. It is in essence, a Collective Consciousness.
Understanding the Signals of the Mind
Understanding the signals of the mind is essential to knowing the function of the mind, which can lead to learning about the order of the universe. The signals being received by a human’s mind originate from within and from the outside of the mind.
Signals, Vibrations, Transmissions from Within the Mind:
• The mind is in a constant state of transmission and in constant flow with a higher power. This means there is an ongoing stream of knowledge flowing to and from it, along with an ongoing stream from what is referred to as memories. A memory is not just filed away in a drawer somewhere. It is fluid, living, dynamic, and easily accessible. Those humans who planned a life with a health challenge or injury, which limits their brain function and seems to turn off some memories, was done as planned to create a new or different life, one which is free of those past details or events.
Signals, Vibrations, Transmissions from Outside the Mind:
• Events are happening all around a human, at any given time. Noises, the environment, sights, sounds, smells, all of this is creating signals and vibrations. While many believe the mind can only process a limit amount of information, which is true, the signals of the mind are in fact sensing and picking up on all of it. There is a lot of stimuli coming in, and a lot which can also over-stimulate a person’s mind.
The human’s mind is a very well-developed machine, albeit a living organism, in that it can process and adapt input from outside the mind and inside the mind all at the same time. But the problem for a person is when they find a signal or set of signals to focus on, strengthen, and those signals are transmitting negative energy rather than balanced or positive energy.
The Balance of Positive and Negative Energy
The source of life is the energy which sustains the universe and mankind. Energy must be balanced, which means there is negative on one end of the spectrum, and positive on the other end of the spectrum.
This is how energy sustains the higher power, which is also a Collective Consciousness. There is the negative spectrum, which consists of negative emotions, feelings, experiences, and events. There is also a positive spectrum and this contains the positive emotions, feelings, experiences, and special occasions.
This is how the energy spectrum stays balanced, yet there is no physical divide between the positive and negative spectrums other than the energy field, and it is easily accessible by all of mankind. Mankind’s energy retains, sustains, and nurtures this energy. This is important to know as mankind has the same unfiltered access, easily retrieving positive or negative conscious signals from a higher power. However, many people learn that a positive focus is more affirming and fulfilling for their lives.
What it Means to Become Overwhelmed
Becoming overwhelmed is a condition where the mind is developing too many strong signals that are negative energy based. It may be all input from outside the mind, such as news heard on the television, or events that occurred during a person’s day, or a combination of input from outside the mind and inside the mind.
What typically happens when a person starts receiving strong, negative input from outside the mind, and the mind cannot filter or process it well, as it becomes a strong reactive negative signal from within the person’s mind.
Then other negative signals from within the mind are activated or made stronger, such as past negative events. Those may be events that were forgotten about over a long period of time. However, because of the fluid nature of energy signal transmissions, those negative memories can easily float in and out. This is what Law of Attraction teachers mean when they state: a like thought attracts another.
But it is not that simple.
What It Means to Activate More Negative Thoughts
There is actually a process going on within your mind and a reason why a person who has one negative thought will begin to have more negative thoughts. It is a system of signals in the mind that are being activated.
On a typical day, the mind can and will balance a person’s thoughts. At times, negative input will arrive, but can be processed in and out, without activating too strong of a reactive reply or signal, or for too long of a time period.
But those who reach a point where they feel overwhelmed, to the point of feeling depression, grief, giving up, or despair, those are indicators of negative signals which have been chronically activated. This is a person who intentionally decided to minimize the strength of their positive signals.
Their positive signals do exist, just as strongly as the negative signals, yet it is a matter of how a person trains their mind to operate, and how they use the energy within their mind.
Finding Relief from Being Overwhelmed
Once a person has reached a point where they feel overwhelmed, how can they find relief? Learning about the system of signals in the mind can help a person discover what to do whenever life seems to be too much. However, switching from negative to positive signaling is not going to be an immediate occurrence, especially if this has been a practiced habit for some time now.
Find Moments of Relief: What a person needs to do is begin to find moments of relief. This means finding, creating, or nurturing moments of happiness, enjoyment, fun, creativity, or anything else which can light up, from an energetic perspective, a positive signal. This should be something which feels good, maybe even selfish, whatever will bring about pure joy, even for a few moments to begin with – until it becomes a practiced habit.
Find Pleasure and Happiness: Being involved in anything fun, uplifting, or creative is certain to help. Even the gratification of physical relations with another human, or one’s self, can elicit positive feelings. This is a universe based upon energy and when a human’s physical form experiences joy, happiness, pleasure, or bliss, it radiates through their mind, and transmits through their mind as an energetic signal and transmission to your higher power.
Find Moments of Positive Energy: The more moments a person can purposely set out to create, the stronger the positive signals become, and the less the feeling of being overwhelmed is experienced. Soon the person’s disposition is transformed. This is all within every person’s ability to direct. Every person’s mind is theirs to develop, nurture, and control.
Nurture Positive Energy Signals: Feeling overwhelmed does not need to last and the sooner you can nurture positive energetic signals, the sooner you will begin to feel better from within, and this will in turn radiate outwards. When you are feeling overwhelmed, those negative energy signals also interrupt the imagery of your dreams. It is through your dreams you are reminded of a plan unfolding in your life, which is the guide for knowledge about your future and the direction your life will follow.
